Kinematograph picture films. -A film is so perforated that the feeding mechanism ceases to actuate the film at certain predetermined positions, for example when a title is projected on to the screen. The perforations 3 and 4 are longer than the range of the feeding device which is represented by the arrow 5, so that the film is stationary in the position shown. The feeding device will again engage with the perforations 6 when a slight traction is applied to the film.
