Endless-band conveyers, fibrous material carried on; air and gases, circulation of.-In an apparatus for drying textile materials by the use of hot air, the air from the drying-chamber is conducted back to a coke-fired heater A, through a pipe E which is connected to the top and rear of the drying-chamber and to the heater on the side remote from the fan C. The material is fed to the drying-chamber upon the conveyer D, and passes through the chamber upon endless bands F of wire netting.
