Hinged-sliding windows.-In a window as described in the parent Specification, means are provided for raising the window clear of the bottom bead to permit of hinging. A lever 6<a> is attached to the sash by a flexible cord 1 secured to a plate 4 and is pivoted to the frame at 7. The window is raised bv depressing the end 6<b> of the lever which is then engaged by a hook &c. 8 or by a pin and slotted bracket.
