172,234. Vleeschouwer, C. de, and Tacoma, J. Jan. 4, 1921. Addition to 10659/15. Desks and tables combined with cobinets.-A pair of spring catches 5 for retaining in a projecting position the typewriter supporting board 2 of the disappearing typewriter, desk, or cabinet described in the parent Specification are released when it is desired to swing the board 2 inwards by pushing a handle 11 carried by the board and connected to a spring-urged bar 10, the inner end of which is connected by a pin and slots to the ends of two levers 13, 18 mounted on vertical pivots 15. The ends 16 of the levers 13, 18 bear against the upper ends of the catches 5 and when the handle 11 is operated, the levers 13, 18 remove the catches from engagement with plates 7 on the board 2.
