Abstract

167,390. Rivard, A., and Sparling, L. Aug. 4, 1920. Roller-blinds; curtains, suspendings.-A blind roller, adjustable in length, comprises an inner tube 1, fitted at one end with a pin 2 adapted to be screwed into an end bracket 22, and at the other end with a longitudinally movable screw 4 which terminates in a pivot 5 engaging the end bracket 23, the brackets 22, 23 being secured to the window frame by spikes 24. The blind fabric is attached, by piecing tongues 17, to the tubular roller 16, having short end tubes 7, 14 telescopicallv fitting therein and revolving on aforementioned pins 2, 4. The roller spring 19 is secured at its ends 21, 20 to the tubes 7 and 1 respectively. The brackets 22, 23 may be provided with projections 28, 29 to support a curtain rod.
