Teeth, artificial. -Tooth - forming moulds consist of two portions 1, 2 forming the cavity between them, the lower part 1 having three inclined surfaces 6, 7, 8, forming the lingual surface of the tooth, and the upper part a concave surface 9 to form the lateral surface. Extending into the cavity is a web 11 having lateral flanges 10 which are arranged parallel to the " bite-" - forming surface, and inclined to the lateral surface. Alternatively the flanges may be parallel to the " ridge-lap " surface.
