Abstract

387,330. Artificial teeth. SCHRODER, H., 20, Lindenallee, Charlottenburg, and NUSSBAUM, R., 7, Beethovenstrasse, Lankwitz, both in Berlin. July 30, 1931, No. 21783. Convention date, Nov. 6, 1930. [Class 81 (ii).] The molar teeth a .. d of one jaw are each formed with a substantially central transverse dome or ridge m, but with no other cusps or large recesses, each dome engaging in a recess formed by two adjacent oppositely disposed teeth having substantially central buccolingual ridges n but no lateral cusps or projecting portions. The surfaces which together form the recesses may be either plane or concave in longitudinal section or in cross section or in both. The lower frontal pre-molar e is formed with a short surface i which is horizontal or slightly inclined forwardly, and with a plane or concave surface k forming part of the recess to receive the opposing tooth. The domes or ridges m of the upper teeth and the ridges n of the opposing teeth may be arranged centrally or slightly to one side of the centres of the teeth, or may be curved either forwardly or rearwardly at the buccal or lingual sides of the teeth, or at both sides, for instance as shown in Figs. 7, 9, and 10.
