469,144. Artificial teeth. DENTISTS' SUPPLY CO. OF NEW YORK. March 12, 1936, No. 7494. Convention date, July 17, 1935. [Class 81 (ii)] Teeth with multiple facets designed in accordance with Specification 249,089, [Class 81. (ii)], are formed with recesses or fossae in the various facets. said fossae occupying the major part of the surfaces of the facets but leaving the peripheral portions intact. Grooves or sulci may be formed through some of the facets so as to extend buccally and lingually from the corresponding fossae. One or more collars or ridges may be formed on the buccal side of the necks of the teeth whereby individual teeth may be identified. Fig. 5 shows the basic form of the occlusal surface of a first molar, whereas Fig. 7 shows the same tooth formed with fossae 47 and a sulcus 48 in accordance with the invention. Fig. 35 shows a second molar with two identification collars 64.
