Lateral - splash guards. - A mudsplashing preventer for motor-vehicles comprises a pivoted nozzle N mounted on a bracket B on the chassis and adapted to direct a jet of compressed air on to the point of contact of the wheel with the ground. Each wheel is provided with a nozzle, the nozzles being mounted on vertical pivots B<1> so that they can be swung outwards to facilitate the removal of the wheels.
