Window holders for sliding sashes.-A device for securing sliding sashes in the closed or partly opened position comprises a button a upon a spindle b, which when in the inclined position engages racks d, e, so as to lock both sashes against further opening. Release is effected by a push h which operates a rack g geared with a pinion f on the spindle b, and turns the button a into the vertical position.
