Locking nuts and studs.-A bolt a is bored axially and coned at each end of the bore to receive a pin c provided with a conical head f and adapted to engage a conical nut d. The threaded end of the bolt is split and upon tightening up the nut d, this end is expanded to lock the nut in position. As applied to a stud, each end of the stud is split.
