Winding-apparatus, hand; setting - apparatus.-A clock A having a radial winding and setting stem C is provided with a turning-knob D<2> at the front. The hub of this knob projects through a slot A<5> in an ear A<4> on the flange A<3> into a groove C<3> on the stem C and the two gear together by mitre-pinions C<2> or crown or spur gearing.
