Walls. - Consists in. forming hollow dampproof walls by attaching an inner layer d, Fig. 2, of lath and plaster, asbestos sheeting, or the like to waterproofed bricks c projecting from brick piers or columns b formed on the inner side of an outer brick wall a. Fig. 4 shows the waterproofed bricks c built into a corner pier g. The bricks c, the projecting portions of which may be grooved to form a dripping edge, are made of wood or a mixture of plaster of paris and sawdust, and are waterproofed with tar or resin.
