No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid), Spring devices.-A spring suspension of the rear wheel of a motor-cycle &c. consists of two vertical leaf springs e, f, and a telescopic tube e which may be replaced by a pair of toggle-jointed links, or by a spring. The ends f, f<1> of the springs may be connected by a short link, or by a band, or by a pin-and-slot connection, or by bolts or clips. The rear wheel frame k pivots about the bolt h. A cover or gaiter n containing lubricant may be fixed round or on the springs and a screw lubricator e<2> may be fixed on the telescoping tube e. The springs may be put out of action by locking the telescopic tube by a set-screw.
