Toothed gearing.-In a radial-cylinder internalcombustion engine, in which sleeve-valves are actuated from spiral gears 3, arranged around and driven by a single spiral gear 2 on the crank shaft, the gears 3 are off-set from the axis of the cylinders in order to facilitate removal and adjustment for wear. To take up wear, the flange 9 is machined on the inside so as to reduce the off-set of the gear 3.
