Abstract

154,166. Johansson, K. W. Nov. 7, 1919, [Convention date]. Plug couplings.-An electric plug coupling, in which is inserted a fusible member operated by external heat from a resistance supplied by it with current, has the fusible member constituted by a spring 9 in tension soldered between two contact-pieces 7, 8. The coupling comprises a cable terminal 6 and a plug-socket 2 between which the fusible member is clamped by a screw 3. The contact pieces 7, 8 of the fusible member are supported by the ends of a removable insulating sleeve 10 which may have a slot at one side to facilitate the insertion of the fusible member.
