Abstract

A filling rod (2) which is provided with a continuous hole (2a) and whose shank projects into the compression space (1a) is inserted into a threaded hole (1b), which leads to the compression space (1a), in the housing (1) of the device. A pressure medium (3) is introduced through the hole (2a) in this rod (2) until the compression space (1a) is filled. After the removal of the filling rod (2) a thin-walled capsule (5), which contains a propulsion medium (4) in the liquid or solid state of aggregation and whose dimensions correspond to the shank of the filling rod (2), is inserted through the threaded hole (1b) into the compression space (1). The threaded hole (1a) in the housing (1) is finally tightly sealed by means of a screw (6). <IMAGE>
