Abstract

A closure (6) for the end of a bore in a housing is generally cup-shaped and comprises a closed end wall (7) and a stepped side wall having a smaller diameter portion (8) which is surrounded by a seal (13), and an inherently resilient end portion (9). The free end of portion (9) is adapted to expand into an annular groove (4) in the bore and engage a stop in the form of a side wall (5) of the groove to prevent removal of the closure. <IMAGE>
