Abstract
1533890 Alumina-chrome refractory composition KYUSHU TAIKA-RENGA KK (KYUSHU REFRACTORIES CO Ltd) 2 March 1976 [6 March 1975 15 April 1975 26 April 1975] 08375/76 Heading C1J An alumina-chrome refractory composition comprises 30-80% by wt. of alumina-silica type material with its major part in coarse particle size (more than 1 mm.), and 70-20% by wt. of chrome type material with its major part in less than fine particle size (less than 1 mm.). A third component (1-30% by wt.) in fine particle size (less than 1 mm.) selected from alumina, zircon, zirconia, magnesia, spinel, clay, silicon carbide and titanium oxide may also be present; and small amounts of inorganic or organic binders and plasticizers may also be present.
