Abstract

1530116 Mounting fan rotors on shafts LICENTIA PATENT VERWALTUNGS GmbH 2 Oct 1975 [2 Oct 1974] 40387/75 Heading F2U An air blower rotor 4 is detachably mounted on the drive shaft 2 of an electric motor 1, the rotor having a sleeve 6, conical centring device 8, and means 5, 11, ensuring that the rotor may only be fitted to the shaft in one angular position relative thereto. In the Fig, the means comprises pin 5 through the drive shaft and slot 11 in the sleeve 6, which sleeve may be cut at an angle 10 to assist location of pin and slot. A drive collar 7 and milled nut 9 may be provided.
