Abstract

152,545. Seymour, B. F. Dec. 18, 1919. Disk wheels.-Re.- lates to wheels made of corrugated sheet metal, and consists of forming a wheel of two disks 8, 9 in contact and with the corrugations intersecting and secured by spot welding at the points of intersection. Tie-rods 18 extend substantially diametrically across the wheel, and a hub 21 is secured by bolts 24. The rim 17 may have a central inwardly directed flange or inwardly directed peripheral parts to secure the disks.
