Disc wheels.-Relates to wheels of the type which are formed of two sheet-metal discs secured together in a plane parallel to the mid-plane of the wheel and each comprising a part of the nave and channelled spoke-forming members, and consists in shaping the peripheral parts of the discs A, A<1> so as to form cylindrical flanges c, either continuous or not, at the ends of the spoke parts b so that when the rim is in place the spokes reach substantially to the inner surface thereof. The flanges may be shaped so as to form the whole or part of the rim, or a separately formed rim D may be mounted thereon and secured by welding or riveting or both.
