236,129. Elwell, Ltd., J., and Hawley, O. H. Feb. 13, 1925. Compression-spoke wheels; hubs. - A wheel for wheelbarrows comprises a rim 1, spokes 3, a disc 5 permanently secured to the inner ends of the spokes and having a non- circular hole 7 for the axle. and a pair of clamping discs 6, one or both of which may be detachable, for coacting with a pair of projections 10 on the axle to secure the wheel thereon. The rim may be made of a piece of T-section metal bent into circular form with the web on the inner side. and the spokes are preferably each formed of two strips of metal secured on either side of the web of the rim and the central disc 5.
