Abstract

1525447 Pneumatic conveyers BUHLERMIAG GmbH 10 June 1977 [12 June 1976] 24431/77 Heading B8A Pneumatic conveying apparatus for feeding plugs of pulverulent and granular material comprises a material supply including an airtight rotary lock 2 and a pair of compressed air pipes 12, 17 feeding intermittently air to a dispatch station 1 and a discharge conveyer pipe 4, respectively. The pipes are controlled by electro-magnetic valves 14, 18 operated alternately by a switching control 24 which may be electrical or pneumatic. Each air pipe 12, 17 has a manually adjustable flow valve 15, 19. The pipe 17 may discharge into the conveyer pipe 4 in the bend 1b downstream of the dispatch station 1.
