Abstract

1,055,674. Pneumatic conveyers. INSTIT-UT FœR FÍRDERTECHNIK LEIPZIG. April 8, 1965, No. 14957/65. Heading B8A. An apparatus for the transportation of powdered or granular material comprises a conveying pipe through which material is pneumatically or mechanically fed, a compressed air supply pipe surrounding the conveying pipe and resilient non-clogging blower jet elements releasably held in apertures in the conveying pipe and opened by compressed air passing therethrough. The resilient blower jets may-have one or a plurality of apertures in the nozzle end and slots in the remote end. The jets may be attached to the conveyer pipe or held thereagainst by said remote end engaging the outer air pipe. Spacing members can be provided between the two pipes.
