Abstract
1522718 Central heating systems JOH VAILLANT KG 23 July 1976 [25 July 1975] 30713/76 Heading F4U A central heating system having a heating element, e.g. a gas burner 9, provided with adjustable control means 22 to heat water passing through a heat exchanger 2 to a first circuit 3 including a water pump 1 and supply and return lines 10, 8, which thereafter passes to a heating circuit 5 including one or more radiators 4 and supply and return lines 12, 13, the flow of water through the supply line 12 being controlled by an adjustable throttle valve 11, itself controlled in dependence on the rate of flow of water through the heat exchanger 2 and the heating circuit 5. The delivery of gas to the burner 9 is controlled by an adjustable gas valve 22, and both valves 11, 22 are controlled jointly or successively by a differential pressure switch constructed as a diaphragm switch 18.
