Abstract

1394807 Valves JOH VAILLANT KG 20 Dec 1973 [26 Jan 1973] 59113/73 Heading F2V A thermally actuated valve for a radiator has a central chamber 19 which is connected via a seat 21 to two outlets 9, 10 for alternate connection to a radiator and which is connected via a screw in seat 22 to an outlet (7) for connection to a radiator by pass conduit. An inlet 5 communicates via passage 20 with the chamber 19 and is connected to outlets 9, 10 or outlet (7) or both according to whether the valve member 28, 29 engages seat 22 or seat 21 or is in an intermediate position. Outlet (7) lies on an axis (34) which is perpendicular to the axes 17, 18.
