Abstract

1,216,959. Valves. MARKARYDS METALLARMATUR A.B. 14 Oct., 1969 [22 Oct., 1968], No. 50369/69. Heading F2V. A radiator valve has a hot water inlet 2 from which water is directed via lift valve member 22 to a radiator feed line 8 or, via plug 23, 24 to a carry-over line 3 which also receives water returning from the radiator via line 9. Plug 23, 24 provides pressure balance for member 22 and is profiled such that the total flow through inlet 2 remains constant. Water flowing around plug 23, 24 provides an injector effect upon water returning from the radiator. A thermostat or control handle mounted at 35 engages stem 21 to position the latter against spring 29. The maximum rightward travel is variable by socket 26.
