Abstract

The multi-wing sliding door has a fixed frame which is equipped with telescopically designed horizontal spars (3, 4). The telescopically designed spars (3, 4) of the fixed frame consist of an outer profile (5) and of an inner profile (6). The outer profile (5) is connected to one vertical fixed-frame spar, whilst the inner profile (6) is secured to the other vertical fixed-frame spar (2). The inner profile has a guide groove (9) which is opened upwards at the upper spar (3) and downwards at the lower spar (4). A web (10) of the outer profile (5) engages into this guide groove (9) in the region of the stationary wing (12). Each sliding wing (13, 20) is equipped, on the front side, with a roller or slider displaceable in the same guide groove (9). In contrast the rear rollers (15, 19) are mounted on the respective adjacent wing. <IMAGE>
