Abstract

1520816 Windscreen wipers S W F - SPEZIALFABRIK FUR AUTOZUBEHOR GUSTAV RAU GmbH 17 Feb 1976 [19 Feb 1975] 06144/76 Heading A4F A windscreen wiper blade comprises a plastics main yoke 1, two secondary yokes 2 and a stiffened rubber 13 held by claws 5, 5' at the ends of the yokes, the mid-portion 3 of the main yoke between the points of connection of the secondary yokes being relatively rigid and the end portions 4 of the main yoke being relatively elastic. A clip 8 may be used to connect the secondary yokes with the main yoke, the clip extending through a recess 10 in the secondary yoke and engaging an edge 6 to press a rounded projection 11 on the back of the secondary yoke against a wall 21 of the main yoke to allow relative pivoting between the yokes. Alternatively, as in Figs. 4 and 5 (not shown) the connections between the yokes 1 and 2 may be made by studs (19) or (24) engaging in apertures, the studs being integral with either the main yoke or the secondary yokes.
