152,066. Fedden, A. H. R., Butler, L. F. G., and Cosmos Engineering Co. June 5, 1919. Cylinders; valve-chests.-A cylinder and head suitable for internal-combustion engines &c. are shown in Fig. 1. The head D is a casting cf high conductivity, preferably aluminium, and embraces a rib B, which may be interrupted and is of T-cross-section, on the end of the cylinder body A. The valve-seatings C may be held in position by similar ribs. Holes B<1>, C<2> are provided to permit the escape of air.
