1519814 Lock WEST ALLOY DIECASTINGS Ltd 3 Dec 1976 [29 Sept 1975] 39834/75 Heading E2A A quick-release lock comprises a case 5 containing a bolt 2 that is slidable into the case 5 against the influence of a spring 7, a pivotal handle 9, a snib 3 turnable about the pivotal axis of the handle 9 and mounted in a housing 6 in the case 5, said snib 3, when turned, co-acting with abutments on the bolt 2 to retain the bolt in a projected or retracted position, the handle 9 being adapted by way of a floating member 8 to co-act with portions of the snib 3 to actuate the latter and move it back into a neutral position before retracting the bolt 2 into the case 5.
