1519192 Silicon steel sheet; heat-treatment GENERAL ELECTRIC CO 17 July 1975 30014/75 Heading C7A Silicon-iron sheet contains 2À2-4À5 wt. per cent Si, Mn and S in a Mn:S wt. ratio of less than 2À1:1, 3-35 p.p.m. B and 30-60 p.p.m. N, the N:B ratio lying within the range 1:1 to 15:1. It may be hotrolled, cold-rolled with an intermediate anneal, and finally annealed to develop a cube-on-edge structure. The sulphur content may be wholly or partially replaced by selenium.
