Abstract

1518109 Injection mould closing unit K HEHL 13 June 1975 [11 Sept 1974] 25316/75 Heading B5A An injection moulding machine has a mould mounted on a fixed platen 11 and a movable platen 12a; the fixed platen 11 is fixed to guide rails 10 which in turn, are fixed to a plate 13 which is fixedly attached to a pressure cylinder 14; the movable platen 12a is attached to guide sleeves 12c which slide on the guide rails 10, which in turn are attached at their end remote from the mould to a pressure-receiving plate 12b which is fixedly attached to the piston rod 20 of the pressure cylinder 14, there being provided ribs 12d, which extend inwardly of the guide sleeves 12c and a space between movable platen 12a and pressure-receiving plate 12b for ejecting devices (as shown) or devices for charging or twisting out threaded cores or other desired devices, and the piston rod 22, 33 for an ejector plate being positioned within the pressure piston rod 20.
