Abstract

1517957 Gas burners AEROMATIC CO Ltd 26 July 1976 [24 July 1975] 31054/75 Heading F4T An aerated gas burner comprises a body 1 and a detachable gas inlet and air entrainment tube 6 projecting into the body and held therein by a longitudinal tie member 22. Tube 6 is a venturi which is fixed to a front plate 17 of an inlet chamber 5 and is secured to an end plate 2 of body 1 by a stud and nut connection 22, 23. In a modification, stud 22 is replaced by one or more long tie bolts which extend between end plates 17, 2. The flanges and plates 15-20 and 2 are sealed to body 1 by mastic and a metal wire gauze may be provided below apertured burner plate 3.
