Pneumatic transmission apparatus; independent driving on opposite sides. - The internal - combustion engine 1 drives an air-compressor 2 supplying air to a reservoir 4 from which it passes through a distributing-valve 8 to either or both of two motors 5, 6 driving the rear wheels through chain gearing. Each rear wheel is fixed on a sleeve 12 which rotates loosely on the axle 14 and carries a chain wheel 16 driven from one of the motors.
