Frames.-In motor vehicles of the kind having two or more pairs of driven half-axles, the main driving shaft 1 and an intermediate. shaft, 7 driving the axles of the road wheels 3, 4 are enclosed in a common housing 11, forming part of the vehicle frame. The end of the housing 11 has a cover 13, and when this is removed the housing 11 and the shaft 1 may be extended to accommodate and drive another axle or axles.
