1507332 Bituminous coatings containing elemental sulphur SHELL INTERNATIONALE RESEARCH MAATSCHAPPIJ BV 17 March 1975 [19 March 1974] 10931/75 Heading B2F [Also in Division C3] A method of lining a structure for hydraulic uses comprises spreading onto the structure, substantially without compacting, a bituminous concrete or open - graded bituminous mixture comprising as the bitumen component a bitumen softer than 60/70 penetration, aggregate and elemental sulphur, the sulphur being present in a quantity by weight less than that of the bitumen. The bitumen may be of 80/100 or 180/220 penetration grade.
