Abstract

824,760. Waterproofing buildings. NEUCHATEL ASPHALTE CO. Ltd. April 14 1958, No. 11733/58. Addition to 811,680. Drawings to Specification. Classes 20(2) and 20(4) [Also in Group XV] A building is waterproofed by the method of the parent Specification except that the bitumen is in the form of asphalt. An outer coating of sand or coloured grit may be applied. Bitumen containing not less than 35 parts by weight of slate dust and asphalt containing not less than 30 parts of fine silica flour for acid resistant surfaces; a pitch base with not less than 40 parts of inert filler consisting equally of fine carbon and silica flour for oil resistance and a natural and lake asphalt with not less than five parts by weight of bitumen are mentioned.
