1506963 Mounting flexible printing plates MASCHINENFABRIK AUGSBURG-NURNBERG AG 15 Jan 1976 [16 Jan 1975] 01659/76 Heading B6C A flexible plate clamping device on a cylinder 2 comprises a bracing rail 4 having a recess in which are positioned, lengthwise, four clamp rails 5 which are vertically adjustable by cams 6 to clamp the plate 1 between faces 7. Rotation of bolts 14 moves inclined slide cams 6 against rollers 9 in recesses of the rails 5 thus producing the required clamping force. Compression springs assist release of the plate 1.
