Abstract
1506645 Hydraulic lifting devices JUNGHEINRICH UNTERNEHMENSVERWALTUNG KG 21 March 1975 [22 March 1974] 11967/75 Heading F1D In a fork-lift truck in which a hydraulic pump 11, Fig. I, for lifting the forks is operated by a hand lever 4, means are provided for varying the pump stroke in dependence on the hydraulic pressure in the working chamber 8 of a lifting cylinder 1. As described, the lever 4 forces a roller 13 on the pump plunger 12 up a cam 15 and the angle of the cam is altered by an actuator 21 controlled by the pressure in the chamber 8. As the pressure rises, the piston-rod 24 of the actuator 21 is withdrawn against springs 27 and the angle of the cam to the horizontal is reduced, thus reducing the stroke of the pump. Fig. 2 shows the arrangement diagrammatically. Check valves 31, 35, 37 are all opened simultaneously by a lever 42 when the forks are to be lowered.
