Abstract

1504637 Anchors OCEAN DRILLING & EXPLORATION CO 18 Sept 1975 [26 Sept 1974] 38447/75 Heading B7V To locate and retrieve an anchor 16 a hook 40 on a line 34 is towed in a direction transversely of the mooring line 14 (attached to the anchor) so as to catch this line at a point remote from the moored structure 10 and then the line 34 and hook 40 are drawn towards the anchor. When the hook is at or near to the anchor the latter is raised by winding in the line 34.
