Abstract

1502228 Door operation BESAM AB 20 Oct 1976 [5 Nov 1975] 43609/76 Heading E2M In a door operating unit a linkage system 7, 8. 9 converts movement of a geared reversible electric motor 26 to actuate a hinged door 1, the motor being provided with a drive shaft 31 (Fig. 5 not shown) provided with a friction driving roller 32 which coacts with a wheel 18 rigidly connected with an output shaft 12 on which is mounted a crank 7 of the linkage system. The motor 26 is pivotally mounted about a shaft 27 for swinging movement in the direction of the arrows P3 to press the friction driving roller 32 against the wheel 18 by a force derived from an adjustable spring 29. A cam plate 19 is mounted on the output shaft 12 and is adapted to contact micro-switches (20-23 inc., Fig. 5 not shown) to control the operation of the electric motor 26. The door operation can be controlled by a push button 11, a contact mat, a photo-cell or a time control device.
