Abstract

1408248 Electric window lifting device BROSE-VERWALTUNGS GmbH 15 June 1973 [9 Aug 1972] 28534/73 Heading E2M An electrically operated window lifting device comprises a die-cast base plate 1 provided with three fixing eyes 2 whereby it may be attached to a vehicle door, a toothed segment 6 carried by a pivot 7 and spring-loaded by a spring 9 and a window lifting arm 11 secured to the sector to operate between fixed abutments 12 and 13, an adjustable stop 14 being provided on the arm to co-operate with abutment 13. The sector is driven by a motordriven transmission (not shown), which is housed in a casing 16 cast integrally with the base 1, the casing being sub-divided by a wall 17 into two parts, one for the motor and the other for the transmission with bearings 22 and 24 to carry the motor/transmission drive shaft. To enable the components to be inserted into the casing 16 the casing is provided with an opening in the plane of the base plate 1, a cover (not shown) sealing the opening.
