Abstract

1500302 Load responsive breaking system KOMBINAT FORTSCHRITT LANDMASCHINEN NEUSTADT IN SACHSEN VEB 23 July 1975 [24 July 1974] 30743/75 Heading F2F A braking force regulator for an unsprung single-axle trailer comprises a brake force limiter 16, means to automatically adjust the device 16 in dependence on loading of the trailer and means including an inertia body displaceable in dependence on decleration of the trailer to also adjust the device 16. The inertia body may be a pendulum 13 or a sliding weight (19, Fig. 3, not shown) connected to a lever arrangement for adjusting the device 16. A traction eye 3 is connected to a bifurcated lever 4 and journalled on a horizontal bolt 2 at the forward end of the trailer draw bar 1, the rearward ends of lever 4 being fastened by tension springs 5 to the bar 1.
