A truck comprises an inverted U-shaped frame mounted on wheels 4 and connected by longitudinal members 5, 10 and 13 to a towing connection 6. An extension 18 of the member 10 carries a rope 14 by means of which the load is suspended, the cross member 22 also forming a suitable attachment position. V- shaped guides 21 ensure that the load is centrally positioned and rollers 20 ensure that it is level. Ratchet members 17 provided on the wheels may be engaged by ratchets 16.
