977,329. Castor wheels; jacks. J. DAVID. March 21, 1961 [Aug. 10, 1960], No. 10278/61. Headings B7D and B7J. A support wheel arrangement for a trailer vehicle comprises a hand-operated hydraulic jack 5, 6 secured in side-by-side relationship to a telescoping member 2, 3 which is constrained to resume its position of minimum extension by a spring 4. A jockey wheel 1 is attached castorwise to the bottom of the inner member 2 by a readily releasable fastening 9 and the member 2 is rigid with a bracket 8 upon which the piston 6 of the jack bears. The jack may be operated by a screwed-head member which may be rotated manually.
