1496698 Multicolour printing K AKIYAMA 22 Feb 1975 7554/75 Heading B6C A multicolour printing apparatus comprises printing units 1, 2 each with plate cylinders 5, blanket cylinders 6 and a common impression cylinder 7 whose diameter is three times that of the other cylinders. The blanket cylinders 6 are spaced apart by a distance greater than the length of their transfer surface. A central transfer cylinder 8 has the same diameter as cylinder 7. A common drive source 15 operates both units. Grippers are provided on cylinders 7 and 8 at corresponding positions.
