Abstract
149,266. Store, J. July 13, 1920. Addition to 148,767. Subaqueous structures. - The hoses or bags described in the parent Specification are provided with anchors and cables, filling tubes F, Figs. 1 and 2, for the introduction of the concrete, and aprons D, Fig. 2, of canvas to keep the hose H down on the bed on the stream. The filling tubes are handled from the scaffolding S by means of cables E. Fig. 3 shows a method of anchoring including a main cable K anchored to the banks at each end, and to which the hose H is secured by secondary cables B. These secondary cables may in some cases be directly connected in groups to anchors on the banks or in the stream.
