Abstract

384,811. Sacks. FLEMING, T. J., 30, Calumet Street, Waterbury, Connecticut, U.S.A. Dec. 19, 1931, No. 35226. Convention date, Dec. 22, 1930. [Class 94 (ii).] A batch-bag for handling loose materials, for example in laying concrete, comprises a tubular fabric body 20 and neck-blocks 42, Fig. 4, about which the fabric may be tied to close the ends of the bag, with eyes &c. 22a for lifting. The fabric may be reinforced with ropes or webbing. The two blocks are connected by a tie 47. A filling aperture is provided at 24 with interior flap 35. The bag may be hoisted from either end for emptying. Ties 36 for closing the bag are secured to the fabric by bolts and washers.
